Very good. It powerfully shows the reality of things that the general public doesn't notice.

This novel blew me away. I think it is an important book to read. Some scenes in the novel quite scarily reminded me of some of the things they did in concentration camps during the holocaust. While I already knew about the treatment of prisoners by the US governments, putting these experiences in the voice of a fifteen year old boy made it so much more powerful and gripping. Excellent.
